My man Gilmore is back (and probably in a better setting)

Good news today from my friends at the former Jim Gilmore for President campaign - the former Virginia governor is back… and he’s blogging!  His new page is called the Virginia Patriot and can be found at www.virginiapatriot.com.
The site just went up, so there’s nothing posted yet, but I look forward to hearing his informed […]

The inevitable - Governor Gilmore steps out graciously

I knew this would happen sooner or later, and I’m glad that my friend former Virgina Governor Jim Gilmore chose to step out of the race for president today when it became obvious that his chances were nil.

Statement from former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore
I am today withdrawing my candidacy for the Republican nomination for President.  […]

Jim Gilmore in the Spotlight on YouTube

Former Virginia governor and current candidate for the Republican presidential nomination Jim Gilmore is in this week’s YouChoose YouTube video spotlight.  The governor’s been recovering from eye surgery for the last few days, so hopefully this YouTube stint will get him back on the move.  Check out his latest video on YouTube (and of course […]

Proving once again that justice is blind

President Bush takes the road less travelled, and does so when the only GOP Presidential candidate wanting to hold him closest to the rule of law can’t see it happen.

Get well Governor Gilmore.

Here are some key findings:

Republican candidates managed only an average 42% […]

Did anybody catch Jim Gilmore on Morning Joe?

This morning as I was wandering to the kitchen for my 4th (or was it 5th?) cup of coffee I happened to catch former Virginia governor and current GOP presidential candidate Jim Gilmore on msNBC’s “Morning Joe” (the temporary Full Time replacement for Imus).
Pinch hitting for host Joe Scarborough was newsreader Mika Brezinski (the daughter […]

Jim Gilmore discusses his letter to the president

Yesterday former Virginia governor Jim Gilmore was on Tucker Carlson’s msNBC show with guest host David Shuster.
See what he had to say about his letter to the president suggesting the need for a third way in Iraq.

Jim Gilmore announces National Property Rights Initiative

Today former Virginia governor and 2008 GOP presidential candidate announced his National Property Rights Initiative during a speech at the National Taxpayers Union national conference in Washington DC.
A candidate for president who gets it!  People keep asking me why I’m so high on governor Gilmore and this is just another reason.  Property rights and the threat […]

The convenience of reading the legislation

Has anybody else noticed the phrase being bantered about on Capitol Hill by opponents of the recent immigration legislation package?
That phrase, “you’ve got to read the legislation,”  is usually followed by a commentary from the individual stating a myriad of problems that exist with the bill (like this list from Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions).
It seems that the folks […]
