Gay, straight - I don’t care we’re all people, but somone may want to check into all of this discussion about homosexuality being the result of genetics and not choice (or vice versa) - just ask Bill Richardson, he’s still not sure.
HUMOR ALERT - IF THE FOLLOWING IS OFFENSIVE TO YOU, YOU OBVIOUSLY DON’T LIKE […]
The new slogan for the Cleveland CONvention Center.
At least that’s what the Cuyahoga County Commissioners decided to tell county resisdents today in a 2-1 (Dimora and Hagen yes, Jones no) absolutely expected vote after the second of two “public” hearings on the issue of raising the county sales tax by .25% to support a CONvention […]
Tonight I should be at the RPCC platform meeting/convention, but given the limited value placed on input from the party’s rank and file members, I figured it might make more sense to work a little bit later and hit the keyboard when I got home. If somebody has an update on tonight’s RPCC meeting, please […]
Seriously, I will be. But I want to thank John for holding down the fort and I hope he’ll continue to do so.
BTW - “Reparations?” - If there was any doubt about the Conman’s lack of sanity, he demonstrated it last night.
If building a new convention center in Cleveland to lure a medical mart is such a wonderful way to make money for our community, why isn’t some wealthy business person or company (who got to be wealthy business people or companies based on their business acumen) telling the city, “I’ll build the convention center and […]

I got a couple of emails that arrived in the hopper last night inquiring as to my whereabouts yesterday for the Cool Cleveland dialogue session at the Cleveland Public Library regarding the potential county sales tax increase to fund a new convention center (among other things if Jimmy Dimora gets his way).

“The deadliest day in recent history,” that’s what the police are calling Wednesday’s July 4th in Cleveland.
On the day after our nation’s birthday, Clevelanders were mourning instead of celebrating. All told, 12 people were involved in 5 separate incidents involving gun shots or a stabbing with over half of those 12 dying from the wounds […]
Last night I was pissed when dealing with an onslaught of homegrown fireworks displays that I felt were over the top and too dangerous to be occuring in my neighborhood. I wrote:
This is what makes law-abiding citizens go to the gun shop, buy a gun and use it. Michael Douglas in Falling Down seems serenely wise to […]
I’ll have more to say about this tomorrow morning - YOU CAN Fing COUNT ON IT!
But suffice it to say that I called Cleveland’s 9-1-1 system twice (so far - it’s only 9:45pm) tonight to try and report an ongoing and significant disturbance of the peace and was greeted with a never-ending ring tone.
FRANK INACTION […]
