I would have to say your sentiments is why more central &amp;#38; executive committee members were not present.

I had to plead with two people to NOT leave the meeting as the evening proceeded.  Their remorks pretty much mirrored yours.  And from the PAST, it is understandable....

We had the platform tabled. Pretty sure the vote was 57 to table, 54 to keep going.

Some told me this was a tremendous victory on our part.

I feel it was only the first of many small steps in pointing our local party in the &quot;right&quot; direction.</description>
