Reid=Failure=Immigration=Loser=Bush

Ah the sweet smell of failure.

This morning the current iteration of the immigration/amnesty bill died in the Senate as the proponents of this compromise legislation failed to earn the 60 votes necessary to invoke cloture on the measure.  What’s more encouraging is that they could not even muster a simple majority.

Today is a victory for the American people who refused to rollover and let our employees dictate the agenda.

Hurray!

    just confirms what i said in the summer months leading up to last November’s debacle. republicans would have fared much better in that election if they had the stomach to take this issue on as part of that election cycle.
