Lindsey Graham - The poor man’s John McCain

I don’t live in South Carolina (my parents do), but if I did, I would be embarassed to admit that Lindsey Graham represents me in the United States Senate.  Here’s some of the video of his appearance on yesterday’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos.


This guy is a poor man’s John McCain.

At least when McCain speaks you have some level of respect for the Arizona senator.  When Lindsey Graham talks all I can think of is the “tough guy’s sidekick” that simply parrots his protector’s statements.

“Grahamnesty” is not how you solve the immigration issue.  We’re not “demonizing” this issue, we expect you to enforce the laws that exist before you create more laws that don’t work.  Senator, if as you say both the union halls and talk radio think this bill sucks, it probably does.  An alliance of opposites is usually indicative of a bad idea.
