Hillary’s making Texas blue

And that doesn’t mean sad.

Interesting poll numbers coming out of the president’s home state indicate that the land of Bush and DeLay may have reached its limit on tolerating incompetence and failure in its elected officials.  The non-partisan Texas Lyceum Poll indicates that New York Senator Hillary Clinton is in a virtual dead heat with New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Arizona Senator John McCain for the affection of Texan hearts.  Here’s the story from the USA Today blog.  The Lyceum link is attached to the poll’s Executive Summary.

Sure it’s early, but this is looking more and more like a trend that will continue.

I read the poll looking to debunk it based upon the demographics.

So I went to the census figures and all I got to say is Texas will be a swing state in a decade and a Democrat state in 20 years.

    I doubt my party survives.

Mark - Forget about it being a swing state, it’ll be El Norte Mexico in a decade.
