Tony Blair is losing his mind

A few weeks back I posted an item about Tony Blair and his soon-to-be retirement from the Prime Minister’s office in Britain. At the time I indicated that the United States would be losing a strong ally in the office at #10 Downing Street - and I still feel that way.

But after reading his incredibly rambling and ambivalent self-assessment essay in this week’s Economist magazine, I’m starting to think that his departure is not a minute too soon.

We’ll still miss you Tony, but it’s apparent that both you and President Bush have been drinking some mighty odd Kool-Aid lately.
