Do not come within 6 feet of this blog post (dirty words inside)

Isn’t it bizarre that an intelligent blogging mom on Cleveland’s east side is so vehemently against Ohio SB16? Doesn’t that kind of make you wonder why the folks in Columbus are so in favor of this legislation?

Let me ask you, who scares you more Phil Burress or a rational Jewish mother?

I’ll go with the mom every time.

Updated 2:58pm … “poop”.  I needed a dirty word, but I guess “Phil Burress” would have sufficed.

Even more bizarre: the nice Jewish boy who is a Republican state senator voted against it, and the nice Jewish boy who is a Republican state rep voted for it. Go figure.

Oh - you think I’m rational? Wendell, that’s the nicest thing anyone’s said to me all day.

  2. Wendell says:

I was going to say “pissed off” instead of rational, but then I realized that the appropriate rational response to bad government is to be pissed.
And I know I would much rather be portrayed as “rational” rather than “pissed off”.
Think about it… who wants to be the number one ranked google searched item for “pissed off Jewish mother”?

  3. Jill says:

Well, we’re definitely dealing with the lexicon of an alternate universe if we’re saying that pissed off and rational can be swapped for one another. :)
As for ranking among pissed off Jewish mothers, oh, there’s just so many of us. (I gave that You never write, you never call history of Jewish Mothers to my mom, mom-in-law and grandmother for mother’s day this year)

Wait until your kids don’t call and don’t write…
