Calling the REARvrENDs Jackson and Sharpton

News on the wires from SI.com about a story in today’s New York Times that white referees in the NBA call more (a greater frequency) fouls on black players than they do on white players.

This sounds like a case for the REARvrENDs Jesse and Al! Let’s fire NBA Commissioner David Stern! Think how good LeBron would be if he wasn’t being victimized by all of those white refs!

I’m not a statistical whiz or anything, but… could it have anything to do with the fact that there are a lot more black players in the NBA?
