Say NO to Ohio Senate Bill 117

I just finished a Meet the Bloggers session discussing Ohio Senate Bill 117. You’ve probably heard some radio ads spouting about how good this measure will be in promoting

competition and and keeping the cost of your cable TV down.

Don’t believe it.

I’m usually the lone voice representing private enterprise and the value of competition at MTB gatherings so I was curious to go to the session and see if this bill was really as bad as those on the left say it is.

NEWS FLASH - it’s worse.

Not only would SB 117 limit the protections of Home Rule, but it also is likely to promote technologies that are antiquated.

Don’t be fooled this is a measure written by the lobbyists from AT&T and TimeWarner designed to take money out of your pocket with NO benefit to you the consumer. Call or contact your state legislators and tell them to say NO to SB117.

For more information about SB117 and how to stop the lobbyists from screwing you go here.
