Breaking: CBS radio fires Don Imus
CBS radio has just fired Don Imus, thus closing the public side of a tale spinning out of control since it occurred.
I understand the power of the marketplace, but CBS sucks, msNBC sucks and most of all the those two self-promoting so-called reverends Al and Jesse suck.
Word to Al and Jesse… I’ll be watching and so will a lot of other people. I suggest you tread lightly.
By the way, if you were working for equality, I would expect you to be in North Carolina this weekend sticking up for the civil rights of those 3 Duke lacrosse players you were so quick to condemn. If you were working for equality, I would expect you to call for the immediate dismissal by recording companies of all the rap artists that treat women like pieces of meat in their music and videos.
But since I know you’re only interested in propagating your cottage industry of indignation and protest… I fully expect you to talk about the power of your organization and how YOU were able to make this happen.
By the way, kudos to Bigelow Teas for sticking with the I-man. I’ll be drinking your brew from now on.
