WiFi wonderings

Ever since Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson jumped on the technology super highway and

enchanted us with his vision of our city as a WiFi wonderland, I’ve been wondering how he intended to accomplish this task. Since I’m more of a politics/pr guy rather than a techno-geek, I really didn’t put too much thought into it until this morning as I was perusing the new issue of the Economist magazine and came upon this article.

Apparently it’s the tech side that is easy and it’s the political side that will be hard. If progressive technically savvy city’s like San Francisco can’t get it done, how can we expect a backward over-seated city council in Cleveland to make it happen?
