That just sucks
With apologies to my dad who thinks I’m too bright to use such throw away language…
From Cleveland’s blogopimp George Nemeth over at Brewed Fresh Daily:
Look no further then the PutItOnTheBallot initiative. When a grassroots campaign to make government more accountable to the electorate fails because it doesn’t have a warchest to hire canvassers and blow $2M on a marketing campaign, it’s a sad day for democracy in America. I hope we get a debrief from Gloria, and she shares the story she told me about the 80yo woman in Parma who called her after she heard her on the radio.I got an email from David Lay with the link below and I doubt he’ll mind if I quote him: “A very sad day in Cleveland.” But we bloggers and our friends at PutItOnTheBallot.com shouldn’t be sad. They did a helluva job. Too bad the didn’t have more time, but the Cuyahoga County Commissioners planned it that way.
I’ll have more to say about this later, but now I think I’ll just go out and get drunk (and toast those of you out there who gave enough of a damn to stand up for our rights).

I’ll pour one out.
Here’s to you Mr. Dimora, our county turns its lonely eyes to you…
your dad’s right, but what the fuck, look at who you’ve been hanging around with lately
I think my dad would be proud to know all of the folks who participated in this effort.
then introduce us–we need all the help and good will we can get–did you see the latest plan for depradation, tearing down the foreclosures and building new? It’s in the PD this morning, breaking news…
