What have you been doing with your Sunday nights?

If you’re anything like me you haven’t spent your summer Sunday evenings watching television.  Sure, you’ve been trying to squeak every possible sultry moment out of what nature has to offer before the duldrums of winter set in and you’re forced to hope that the creative folks in TVland have come up with something worthwhile to entertain us.

Boy was I wrong.

If you haven’t been watching television on Sunday nights, you’ve been missing the best new program on the air since 24 (back when it was good).  And no, I’m not talking about the “reality” show drivel that the networks have been force feeding us this year, I’m talking about the Kill Point on Spike TV.  Starring John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg, the show is a cross between Dog Day Afternoon, The Negotiator, Swordfish, Ocean’s Eleven (the original), Survivor and of course 24.

I had the lucky misfortune to be inside all day today and because of it got caught up on the stack of promo DVD’s that’s been building on my cable box - what I discovered was the first two episodes of this fabulous show.  They were so good that I went to the internet and found the next two episodes online so that I could be caught up in time for tonight’s episode that aired at 9pm on Spike TV.

Here’s the unfortunate part - next week’s episode on Sunday night is the last for the season.

The good news is that the folks at Spike TV have been providing full episodes on the web so that folks can catch up - and I suspect that because the show is SOOO GOOOD that they’ll re-air the whole thing in the near future.

I’m not going to waste your time rehashing each episode and the cast of characters, but if you want to check it out, I’ve taken the liberty of putting  a click-thru banner up in the sidebar for easy access to the site.

Do yourself a favor - if you like action, you’ll love the Kill Point.
