Jim Gilmore does well on ABC’s This Week

Just by chance I caught former Virginia Governor and 2008 GOP presidential hopeful Jim Gilmore on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

The conversation was thoughtful and engaging, and Gilmore did his best to relay his strong conservative resume. The video is available here - you can find it on the list of available videos on the page’s video player.

  1. Look Gilmore was a decent Governor, he has too much a prosecutor mentality, he believes once a felon always a felon no voting rights restored this is so 70’s
    He needs to be flexible
He spoke well about foreign policy but guess what no president R or D can control the State Department they
are the Fifth column. Trust me no one will dare clean it up

If they could have they would have we have this scenario
around the world because of them not our policies
ask a foreigner what they think about the state dept
it reaks with a stench from hell

He did not do enough when the DNA tests came out to protect
innocent people on death row. Virginia rushes to judgement
they dont like it when their prosecutors are wrong.

His conservative rap is stale we all voted for that conservative BS the last two times we got Jimmy Carter in
drag. Bush Makes LBJ look conservative. Gilmore
should sit this one out and try next time

He needs to bulk up a bit more. When They threw the Karl
Rove uppercut he fell like his colleague another former Governor George Allen. Gilmore was first to come out and support Bush and Bush dissed him bigtime/ That was a sign
    Bush was liberal.

Gilmore should try and run as a governor again

Thanks if he can control an already liberal Northern
    Virginia
