Smerconish on msNBC
I have made an effort since msNBC’s defrocking of Don Imus to steer clear of the channel on my TV’s remote, but this morning by chance as I was rolling through the early morning cable news line-up I came across one of my favorite bald-headed members of the media, Micheal Smerconish, operating via simulcast in Imus’ old slot.
Smerconish who is a Philadelphia early morning radio host, attorney and author carries a similar political philosophy to my own so I stopped and watched. The show was a little light on production value, but given the audience segment it could catch on. Smerconish and msNBC have not indicated if there will be a future for the show and Smerconish will only be simulcasting through Wednesday.
Memo to msNBC - it’s a good format in that time slot so give Smerconish a real run. You might even get me to come back.
