A day of silence
I sat at the keyboard yesterday, last night and this morning trying to think of something to say that could put my feelings into perspective about the terrible events that transpired yesterday at Virginia Tech… and my only comment was silence.
I cannot honor those who fell yesterday at the hands of someone so deeply disturbed that they felt it necessary to take the lives of 32 undeserving victims as well as himself by saying anything more than nothing. This page will be silent today as we reflect on those no longer with us.
May those taken for no reason be granted more in heaven than they were on this earth, and may the one who took them allow God to have mercy on his soul.
